Roles and Responsibilities:
- Provide personalised travel advice and recommendations to clients based on their preferences, budget, and travel requirements.
- Understand clients’ needs and create customised itineraries, including flights, accommodations, transportation, tours, and activities.
- Handle client inquiries via phone, email, and in-person meetings, promptly and professionally.
- Actively promote and sell our travel packages, including upselling and cross-selling additional services or upgrades.
- Collaborate with airlines, hotels, car rental companies, and other travel suppliers to secure reservations and negotiate competitive rates.
- Stay up-to-date with travel trends, industry news, and destination information to provide accurate and relevant advice to clients.
- Process bookings, payments, and necessary documentation accurately and efficiently.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, providing exceptional customer service throughout the entire travel planning process.
- Resolve any issues or complaints from clients with professionalism and efficiency.
- Meet or exceed sales targets and contribute to the overall success of the agency
- Previous experience in a similar role within the travel industry is highly preferred.
- Excellent sales and negotiation skills with a proven track record of achieving targets.
- In-depth knowledge of various travel destinations, travel products, and services.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and establish trust with clients.
- Exceptional customer service skills and a passion for creating memorable travel experiences.
- Proficiency in using travel reservation systems and online booking platforms.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational abilities to manage multiple client bookings simultaneously.
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team.
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
- Fluency in additional languages is a plus.
