Job Description

Primary Responsibilities: –

● Design of PEB (Steel) Buildings / Precast products and associated connections, perform load (gravity and lateral) analysis and design repairs.
● Profound knowledge of Total PEB (Steel) Buildings / Total precast systems including design for fire, design for blast resistance, design for seismic, design for storm resistance, and connections.
● Independently manage engineering design aspects of a project with minimal assistance or guidance.
● Check engineering design calculations, engineered drawings/details, and production drawings of others for accuracy, efficiency, and adherence to company standards.
● Constantly working on the R & D to increase the life of the product in a cost-effective way by optimizing the structural elements and members.
● Constantly looking for ways to develop a radical construction technology & improve critical as well as non-critical components in the product as well as obtaining regulatory approvals for radical construction technology.
● Resolve engineering design issues independently and provide assistance to drafting/QC/production teams.
● Attend project meetings; may lead coordination meetings.
● Ability to lead a design and adhere to production and erection schedules and preparing building designs and calculating the load and stress that a building can withstand.
● Generating reports and documentation of the results.
● Communicating the necessary changes needed to the product development team and others and making sure essential changes have been made.
● Preparing cost estimates of structures and selecting materials for a building.
● Supervising manufacturing processes with in-house and external manufacturing.
● Liaising with other professionals like architects, engineers, and builders to understand the needs and develop products accordingly
● Managing New product development process.

Key skills and Requirements: –

● PEB-Steel Engineering
● Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
● Complete understanding of Indian standard codes.
● Expertise in designing precast concrete structures complying with PCI requirements.
● Experiance in the Design of steel structures and G+1, G+2 buildings.
● Strong mathematical ability.
● Strong knowledge of AutoCAD and similar software.
● Experience in STAAD PRO or other similar software.
● Excellent oral and written communication skills.
● Masters’s degree in Structural engineering with relevant experience
