Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Should attend shift in time.
• The packing operations are to be done in time as per the schedule to aid timely loading.
• Packing operations to be handled strictly in accordance with SOPs.
• Should maintain hygiene & cleanliness in packing area
• The unwanted materials should not be there in packing area
• Should strictly adhere SOP of hygienic block for every entry.
• Monitoring the pouch temperature is always below4°C
• Monitoring the proper CIP for all packing machines
• To maintain CIP temperature not less than 800C.
• Monitoring the packing operations and ensure smooth and leak free pouches are filled
• To maintain targeted yield per kg of poly film.
• Cleaning of all the machine in packing area and keep dry condition, over flowing of water/ milk should not be there.
• The packing machines to be handled smoothly, whenever abnormality noticed to be immediately brought to the notice of maintenance wing.
• To assist the head of the department in his duties.
• To ensure the coliform free pouches are packed.
• Ensure leak free pouches are produced.
• Ensure all the counters are in operation, and regular daily maintenance to be carried out without any omission for all packing machines.
• The machine log book details should be entered in the respective shifts..
• Ensure rational use of consumables to ensure effective leak free packing.
• The packing operator has to better utilize helper effectively.
• Safe storage of film, stereo codes, ink to be ensured to avoid cross contamination.
• Ensure packing as per the order requirement and avoid excess packing which leads to cutting.

Qualification: ITI and Diploma
